The fruit of this young red wine is born in one of the most emblematic bush vineyards of Mas Vicenç, planted the year 1990 in the area called “Jordans” in Cabra.
With a shady character and completely surrounded by forest, we obtain this tempranillo with a really surprising expression.
It was handy harvested the 16th of September and we used the Carbonic maceration method to potentiate its freshness.

Furthermore, for each bottle of this young wine that we elaborate, we allocate 0.50€ to a specific foundation.
This new 2024 harvest collaborates with the Fundación Noelia.

A YOUNG WINE WITH A CHARITABLE PURPOSE
1-Variety: 100% Tempranillo. Vineyard planted in a bush training system in 1990 with grandfather Joan Morató and our father Francesc Ferré at the helm. Its shaded orientation, the dense forested surroundings, ventilation, and the richness of the soil offer optimal health and quality.
2-Harvest: Manual and in boxes on September 16th. The less productive trend of the harvest was very evident, with nearly 40% less yield. However, the phenolic ripeness and sanitary conditions were excellent.
3-Elaboration: The distinguishing feature is the carbonic maceration, a technique where we respect the whole clusters until well into fermentation. Box by box, we fill the stainless steel tank without prior destemming. This will emphasize the freshness and the more fruity side of the young wine.
5-Olfactory Aspect: Aromatically, we find sensations that may remind us of blackberries and wild strawberries with a milky background.
6-Taste Aspect: We highlight its more varietal uniqueness with spicy notes and ripe forest fruits. With a light structure, it is smooth, refreshing, and invites you to enjoy it!
7-Pairing: It is an ideal wine to share with good friends, as simple and essential in our daily life. A good breakfast with salted herring, a dinner with cured meats, well-spiced snails, or a great calçotada would be perfect moments to enjoy our young wine. Additionally, its charitable purpose makes it the perfect excuse to collaborate with a good cause.
